“Dr. Salameh went through the risks before my first adjustment, and he stopped when I asked him to.”

Chiropractic care in Portland for desk workers and parents
A hands-on visit with Dr. Shadi Salameh, who explains what he finds, your options and the risks before you decide
How a visit goes
An exam first, then a plan you agree to
Dr. Salameh starts with your history and an exam of how you move. He explains what he found, what the options are and what the risks of each are. Care starts only if you agree, and you can stop at any time.

What a visit can include
Your doctor suggests what fits after the exam. Results vary from person to person.
45 minSpinal adjustment
A quick, hands-on movement applied to a joint of the spine. Dr. Salameh explains what you may feel and the risks first.
60 minRehabilitation exercises
Exercises and soft tissue work chosen after your exam, with a copy to practice at home.
45 minPosture and desk advice
How you sit, stand and set up your workstation, with movement breaks to try at your desk.

How care begins
The same four steps for every new patient
- 01
A short conversation
Dr. Salameh asks about your history, your work and what you want from care. No health forms are needed before you come in.
- 02
An exam
He looks at how you move and sit. X-rays are taken only when they are medically necessary, and he tells you why first.
- 03
Your options
He explains what he found, the options, the risks of each and what each would cost. You choose what happens next.
- 04
Visits after that
If you go ahead, he suggests how often to come back and reviews the plan with you as you go. No number of visits is promised up front.
