How fees work

Plain answers about paying for care, before you book.

  • Insurance we work with

Some plans pay for some chiropractic visits, and what they pay differs a great deal. We bill most PPO plans and a few others. Because coverage varies, we check yours before you come in.

    • Most PPO plans

    • Some employer plans

    • Ask us about yours

  • If you pay yourself

If you do not use insurance, you pay at the visit. Dr. Salameh tells you the fee for each part of a visit, such as the exam or an adjustment, before it happens, and you decide whether to go ahead with each part.

  • Receipts for reimbursement

After each visit we can print an itemized receipt. If your plan reimburses out-of-network care you can send it in, and the plan decides what it pays.

  • An estimate in advance

If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask for one when you book, and we give you a written estimate in advance, before your first visit.

  • Checking your benefits

Before your first visit our front desk checks your benefits and calls you with what it finds, including any copay or deductible. You are also welcome to ask your plan about chiropractic coverage yourself.

  • What the first visit includes

Plan on 45 to 60 minutes. You talk with Dr. Salameh, have an exam, hear what he found and what the options are, and decide what happens next.

    • History and exam

    • Options and risks explained

    • Care only if you agree

    What to expect

To cancel or change a visit, tell the front desk as early as you can. Ask us about the practice's cancellation policy.
